Miami Beach Staycation

Planning a trip to Miami Beach can be overwhelming for anyone (we live ~1 hour away and it feels like a new beach to me every time I visit). There are so many different levels of ‘Miami’ adventures you can have in a weekend.

The key to having a good time is identifying the kind of experience you want to have and then make a loose plan around that. Our ideal Miami Beach experience consists of morning coffee and acai bowls by the pool, afternoon walks on the boardwalk, rosé at sunset, and late night dinners.

Below is our itinerary from a recent weekend in Miami Beach. I’ve also added a list of spots we’ve been to in previous trips for you to reference! Have a Soleil Day :)

Friday:

  • Check in at the Edition

  • Glass of Prosecco at Matador Bar

  • Dinner at Carbone Miami

Saturday:

  • Yoga on the beach

  • Acai bowls from the Market at the Edition

  • Explore Miami!

    • Walk north/south on the boardwalk (depends where you stay)

    • Check out this Vietnamese place for lunch - Behn Mi on Espaniola Way

    • Stop at Timeout Market next and have a cocktail at the bar (next time we are definitely eating there)

    • Walk on Lincoln Road, shop in a few stores and make way back to the boardwalk

    • If you can, check out one of the boutique hotels that have a pool - we stopped at Nautilus by Arlo for a drink with friends

  • Drink Rosé in the room for sunset

  • Have Pre-dinner drinks at Scapegoat - intimate cocktail bar with a cool vibe

  • Dinner at La Planta - Plant-Based Restaurant with a lot of good options for all types of diets

Sunday:

  • Sleep in!

  • Coffee and croissants by the pool

  • Check out

  • Kiki on the River at 1:30p - high energy and trendy brunch spot on your way out of Miami Beach (closer to interstate)
